There are 2 types of Farming Strategies the first one is for
1. Resources
2. Trophy
so we will talk about the farming in resources. so this is the ultimate step on how to gain loots from your enemies and how to protect your loots from others.
first of all. you need to put your TOWN HALL away from your defenses!

based on my experience and all the raids happening on my base while my TOWN HALL is away from my defenses. 80% of the enemy raid targets TROPHY maybe they are targeting the achievements below where you can get the following gem reward:
League All-Stars
Crystal League: 250 Gems
Master League: 1,000 Gems
Become a Champion: 2,000 Gems
so the more they destroyed your TOWN HALL the more shield you will gain, and the more you can protect your resources!
